I started watching pets when I was in middle school. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. My own cat, Forrest, had diabetes, so I had to administer shots every day for several years. I fostered a pit bull mix, Sandy, for almost two years. She needed to take daily meds orally. Sandy completed four classes at SPCA when I had her - Canine Manners, Canine Tricks and Agility A and B. I was a dog walker for the SPCA before Sandy came into my life. When I started taking equine lessons, I not only wanted to learn how to ride, I also was interested in the care of horses. I learned how to exercise, massage and stretch them. I know all animals need TLC, and I'm looking forward to providing that - along with exercise that is suitable for them. I'm a full time teacher who has the summer off. My schedule is pretty open. During the school year, I can be available evenings and weekends. I like to follow a pet's routine as closely as possible and will follow instructions to the letter. I enjoy taking dogs on walks (I live near a park), grooming them and maybe teaching them a few tricks. I also love playing with cats. I clean litter boxes on a daily basis.
