ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE Animal lover since day one here! Growing up in rural Wisconsin, I had such an array of pets from guinea pigs, rats, hamsters to small birds, cats, dogs and as extreme as a billy goat and iguana. I love being able to be there for animals and let them know they are loved and safe. I am comfortable with giving meds orally, don't mind face kisses, don't mind cleaning up small messes if needed and helping with skiddish/scared animals who need a little more attention. ABOUT MY HOME I am a stay-at-home mom with a 3 year old girl. We have two male chihuahuas, one 14, one 10 years old. Kiddo loves throwing their toys for them, petting them and kissing their heads (and receiving kisses), plus helping me feed and bathe them. My dogs love other dogs and have no problem sharing beds or toys with them. Depending on the dog and your house rules, we have let dogs go on the living room furniture if their owners do the same. Our dogs do not go on our furniture because I am very allergic to one of them and I like to treat them fairly.
