Pet care experience
I am from Idaho and Colorado. have owned dogs all my life. I was a single mom with 3 children; 2 boys and a girl. We saved many dogs from the shelter and cats. Any stray was welcome in our home. We even one time found little abandoned kittens and nursed them to health. I was sort of the place when people had to go and leave their pets, somehow I ended up with them. All my animals get along in a very friendly atmosphere . We all take care each other. Its not perfect but they receive tons of love and play and cuddles. I've been out of work due to my disability on my knees and it doesn't stop me from throwing a ball or walking when I can. As always they seem to understand my limitations and care for me! I am an artist and appreciate the chaos of dogs and cats...I wouldn't know life without it!!! I'm working on a coloring calendar of cats and dogs ...I just love them!1

We wiould definitely board Lauren with Heidi again. Heidi took very good care of Lauren and treated her like a member of her family even letting Lauren sleep with her...which Lauren loved.
Heidi is punctual, polite, and professional. She's also very friendly and easy to communicate with. I very much enjoyed the peace of mind I had while travelling, knowing that my furry family member was getting attention and being properly taken care of. She is willing to go the extra mile for my pets, and I would recommend her to anyone in need of pet-sitting. My dog absolutely loves her and I wouldn't trust anyone else.
Heidi has watched my two over-active pitbulls a few times and they absolutely love her! Not many people would be able to deal with these two and their constant energy but Heidi never complains. I'm so thankful I have somebody I can trust with my babies.
Heidi watched our black lab while we went to the beach. The dog is a serious handful but he loved Heidi and her house. I wish he was as good for us as he was for her! If we ever need dogsitting again we will definitely be going to Heidi!

All Dogs are just dogs to me. I have no preference. If the dog has some issues which many do, I will accommodate to those needs. For instance if a dog in my care needs medicine then he will absolutely get his medicine. Yet, if he is just not getting along he will be scolded and sent to time out! That usually does it and they come back and play!! I usually make it fun for them and then we all have nap time.
A typical day
I live downtown and have a Parkway right across the street...I take dogs often so they can smell and watch squirrels. We throw balls and play. I also take the ones who like to go in the car, many do! So they can experience the air in the car, and no, I never leave them if its too hot.
