Pet care experience
I truly love dogs and cats, and I treat my own pets as part of my family. I enjoy taking dogs for walks, and when I am taking care of someone else’s pet, I make sure they feel loved and supported, until you come back! I have also taken care of my friends bunny and fish!! 😊

Heidi is amazing. She watched my large, older dogs while I was away with family for the weekend. As older pups, they both have their quirks and one has separation anxiety. I’ve had trouble finding someone I trusted and felt comfortable leaving them with. But we liked Heidi immediately and she turned about to be so amazing. She sent regular updates (but not too frequent) and was able to just hang out with them for most of the time and not leave them alone very much. They also require medication which can be pretty tricky but she gave to them with no problems. She was also took good care of the house and picked up poop in the yard! All around, Heidi was great and I definitely plan on reaching out to have her watch my dogs again.
Heidi loves animals and has provided excellent care for my dogs and cat. She is dependable and compassionate, treating our babies as her own. I love that I could relax, knowing they were in her care.
I have known Heidi since 2002 when we met as neighbors, and she has become a life long friend. She was a big dog lover first and then became a cat lover after I met her and she rescued two cats. She now has four! She took care of our cats for years when we went on vacation and she loved and cared for them like her own. I trust her completely with the care of any animal, cat or dog, as she loves them all dearly. She’s the best!

Your pet will be well cared for, with lots of ball/toy play and exercise! I feel like a pet handles the stress of their owners being gone, much better in their own home. Through the years , I have pet sat for my best friend, neighbors, and adopted parents. It truly brings me joy to be around animals! I have pet sat dog (s), cat(s), a bunny and fish!

A typical day
We would start by going for a brisk walk around your neighborhood, letting your fur baby sniff as much as they want! We would come back home, have some water and then play with their favorite ball/toy! Lastly, I would sit either on the floor or the couch, whichever you prefer, and give your pet some good scratches and love!

Availability
My full-time job, during the week, is pretty flexible, which gives me time, to make sure your pet(s) are taken potty, fed and given love , at least every 4 hours! Taking care of your sweet pet on a weekday, would look like this. I would be able to take them out for a morning walk, feed, water and give them some love. Between 3 and 5 hours later, I would be able to go back and check on them and take them for another walk. In the evening, whatever time you want me to come ( after 4:30 p.m.), I can take them for a walk and sit and snuggle with them for awhile. If you have a cat, it will depend on if they hide , or want attention. On most weekends, I have time to dedicate to taking care of your sweet, animal family member(s)!
