Hey there! I'm Heather, a young professional who works from home full-time in Pine Brook, NJ. I have experience boarding dogs, checking in on dogs, and taking them for walks. I started by caring for my neighbor's dogs in my teens. I've now looked after dogs of all sizes and I enjoy playing catch and running with dogs as well! I have a very large, unfenced backyard on a quiet cul-de-sac. I've signed up with Rover simply for fun. I love having animals around, but I also love to travel often, so I'm not ready to have my own yet. I hope you will let me care for and play with yours! A few fun facts: I love to hike and travel with my boyfriend. I have been to Iceland, Zion National Park, Belize, Hawaii, Cozumel, and more... Snorkeling and hiking are my favorite activities. When I started working from home, I left NYC and moved back to my parents. They are dog-people as well and they love having four-legged friends around!

Heather is kind and compassionate, and provided excellent care for our 7 month-old Poodle, Sterling. She kept us informed with daily updates and numerous photos, and it was easy to see that Sterling was very much enjoying herself as they tackled the trails together! We will definitely look to Heather for any of our future dog boarding needs.
Heather took excellent care of our 7 month old Cavapoo Oreo. He’s our first dog and it was our first time to have someone else care for him, and obviously his first time too. We felt really comfortable leaving Oreo to Heather and did not worry at all during our vacation. She even sent pics of Oreo which was truly appreciated and my kids kept asking me if she sent any more pictures. Thank you so much Heather and we are hoping you’ll always be available to care for Oreo on our future out of town trips.
Heather is truly amazing. She's dependable responsible and flexible. She helped me during a difficult time in my life and made caring for my dog that much easier and one less thing to worry about. She is kind and energetic and gave my pup exactly what he needed!
Heather is absolutely amazing! She watched our little Claire for 3 days (2 overnights) while we were on several business meetings in the area. Claire LOVED staying with her. We received most lovely photos and update notes every day. We were totally at ease and able to focus 100% on business at hand, knowing Claire was happy, loved and very well cared for with Heather. A typical day
I live on a quiet street with friendly neighbors and a few dogs. There's a grassy trail behind my house that is perfect for a walk through the woods. My backyard is large and great for catch, but it is unfenced. I am a distance runner, so if that is something your dog would enjoy, I would happily bring him/her on a run with me. I also love to hike. If that is something your dog is interested in, I would be happy to bring him/her on a safe and easy hike.
