The best caretakers leave your pet happy and tired. If you trust me with the care of your dog, they will be just that! I love walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. Because each dog is special, I will be attentive to their specific needs. My dog, Dude, is a Kelpie shepherd mix. He's an energetic goofball that loves his daily walks and agility training. Dude is the perfect Rover dog companion. He's playful with fellow high-energy pups and respectful of dogs who prefer their space. We have a large fenced yard, with plenty of dog beds and chew toys scattered throughout the house! I have been a Rover sitter for over a year now and have really enjoyed the relationships I've formed through this app (both dogs and pet parents alike). My son was born in June 2019, so there IS a toddler in the house. But I’ve had several dog boarding stays since his birth, and they’ve all gone great! There are benefits for your dog spending time around a child :) exposure to those new sights, smells, and sounds can aide in their social development. That being said, if you know your dog is uneasy around small children, I’m not the sitter for you.
