I love them like you love them!

Pet care experience

I have always had a HUGE passion for animals. I recieved a bachelor's degree in biology and took a veterinary assisting course, with experience working in 2 different veterinary clinics. I also have experience working in a kennel with dogs of all breeds. I am skilled with handling, identifying stress, heat stroke, anxiety, and other like behaviors. Your pet's health and safety is always my top priority! If any special care is needed such as medication, I am happy to accommodate! I so look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Dogs may not be my whole life, but they sure make my life feel whole! ♡

Heather is amazing with our dogs!! She takes the time to play with them and give them love! She cares for them like I would. She also gets back to you quickly with booking! I will definitely be using Heather in the future to take care of our dogs!

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always my top priority, and I find that can be best achieved in an environment an animal is comfortable in, which is why I always come to your pet! I make sure your pet is always well hydrated, refreshing water upon arrival, departure, and especially carrying it on walks with me. Your directions are my guide, and I will never stray from them. I ask many questions about care during our meet and greet, so we can all be safe and have the best time!

Information Heather M. would like to know about your pet

I believe the most important thing to know about a dog ahead of time is their personality! Are they ready to go, or like to snuggle? Need a little extra time to warm up? I can handle that!! This can play an important role in the tone of a visit. It is also very important to be aware of any likes or dislikes, particularly "no-touch zones" or periods where they may display defensive behaviors such as during meal times, and any allergies/medical conditions they may have that could impact the visit as well.

A typical day

Walks at the beach, park, or simply around your neighborhood! Playtime is always so much fun!! Water play can always be a fun experience for your pet as long as you allow it, but I will flex to what your pet may love!

I'm currently a stay at home Mom to 2 beautiful children, both under the age of 2. Life can be pretty chaotic between medical appointments and other life events, but I do my best to keep my calendar up to date, and to respond to clients quickly when requests are sent, so that nobody is left in the dark!
