Pet care experience
We’ve taken care of pets our whole lives. We both had pets as children and now as adults have had pets since we’ve been married. We will pamper your sweeties just like we care for ours. If necessary, we can bathe your pets and administer medication. My husband and I are both currently working from home. If either of us has to go into work, the other one will be home. We are home most weekends and if not, we’ll block it off. We will be gone most Sunday mornings to church, but will be home after that. We have a fenced-in backyard and can take your dog out frequently. We do not crate our dog at home, but we can certainly crate yours if you prefer. If so, please provide a crate.

I needed a sitter short notice and Heather was very helpful in accommodating my schedule. Jimmy was happy and healthy when I picked him up. If I'm ever in Des Moines again I'll definitely rebook!

This testimonial is for Heather P. The family is very kind to animals. They have one dog and four cats. One son who is 12 is looking at being a veterinarian when he grows up. The animals are always well taken care of and taken to the veterinarian when they need to go. Heather and her husband both work from home during the day so they would be available to take care of any animals under their care. The animals they have, are with them even when they are working. Usually in the same room or sometimes sitting on their laps. They even sleep with them at night.
Heather and her family are amazing with animals. Heather’s dog Fritz is well loved, played with and exercised. It is clear that the pets in her house are family and a priority. They are kept clean and healthy, and it shows in how they interact with visitors. She will make a fabulous dog sitter.
