Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Heather I have been involved in caring for animals for many years whether it was my own pets or the grooming and boarding facility I worked for in my 20s. I am 50 years old. I am from the Quad city area originally but lived in Houston for 30 years, I recently moved back about seven years ago. I have a nice little house in Bettendorf with a great yard including a vinyl privacy fence. I have been married for 30 years and my 18-year-old son lives with us . I am the one who cares for the animals I watch I have three small dogs weighing under 10 pounds they are used to being around other dogs and are very playful. I have one cat who is very used to dogs. If he is around a dog that doesn’t care for him he knows to steer clear. I will give your pet a loving fun, playful experience, and I’m very happy to send you video and pictures so you can see how your pet does while they’re with me . I look forward to hearing from you and your furry family members !

Heather took very good care of my two cats. She was able to accommodate an earlier than scheduled time for which I am extremely grateful for. She is super friendly and if we ever need a pet sitting service again, she will be the first person I ask!!
Taffy was right at home with Heather. She had other fur babies to keep her from missing us. She had great care.
Heather was great with Zach and Kassidi! She has two other little dogs that Zach and Kassidi enjoyed socializing with. I would have loved more pictures, but overall I would have Zach and Kassidi stay with Heather again.

I have a fenced in yard with a vinyl privacy events, I live on a quiet street. I have three small dogs that love to run around and play as well as a cat who thinks he’s a dog lol. I feed in the morning , separately if the dogs I have are from other families. I feed in the evening. In between we do all the fun stuff and I send pics and videos if you would like.

Definitely let me know if your dog has any particular behaviors you want me to be aware of i.e., food, aggression( I can feed them separately), Has a very high, prey instinct, this is usually to do with certain breeds, and they’re very driven to chase birds, rabbits, squirrels. I would definitely like to know if if they are a digger or have repeatedly dug out of fences, or jumped over fences. It also helpful for me to know if they are comfortable in a crate if they like to sleep in the crate or if they are not a cheer and can be allowed to sleep out of the crate. Does your dog have a sensitive stomach? Let me know that I do not tend to give treats to the dogs I watch or people food unless you bring treats yourself.
A typical day
I will play fetch with your dog in my backyard if they prefer. my dogs usually love to play with the dogs I watch so they get a lot of entertainment there. If it’s nice out, we will enjoy the time in the backyard while I sit on the porch swing. I keep a vigilant eye on the dogs. I watch when they go outside, I do not leave them outside for long periods of time without watching them. I have cameras outside of my house so if I catch your pup in a funny moment, I can send you the video.

Availability
I usually let them out in the morning and feed the dogs I watch separately so there’s no fighting , same thing at about 4 pm in between they get pets , sleep, and run around in my yard ( weather permitting ) I am home every day of the week. I am gone for a few hours on Wednesday and Thursday.
