All my kids have four legs! I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats, one of which was abandoned in my neighborhood until he eventually adopted me after bringing him in during winter weather for a few years. I am all of my friends' trusted pet sitter because their pets seem to have fallen in love with me upon our first meeting. My friends have even "willed" their pets to me if anything ever happened to them, because they know no one will take better care of them than I would. I am truly an animal lover with a caring and compassionate approach. I am a member of the ASPCA and participate in movements that fight against animal cruelty or abuse. I have experience caring for elderly pets with medication routines, including pills and neck/scruff injections. I believe our pets are our angels sent by God to reciprocate happiness, love and protection. This poem is a beautiful explanation on how man's best friend got his name: When God had made the earth and sky, The flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals, The fish, the birds and bees. And when at last He'd finished, Not one was quite the same, God said, "I'll walk this earth of mine, And give each one a name."
