Pet care experience
Hey friend(s)! My name is Heather and I have been an animal love my whole life. I have had two dogs as well as a few exotic pets. I used to dog sit when I was younger on and off, but unfortunately I stopped because I got a puppy. Through my experience, I watched a wide range of dogs from their sizes, breed, and gender, so I have a fairly good idea of dogs behaviors and body language. I am now just focusing on dog walking and drop in visits! I hope I can make a new companion and take your furry friend on a nice walk!

At a clients home, I always use any notes they may have left me and of course am respectful in their homes. By taking an owners rules into consideration, it makes the pet feel more comfortable and me as well! I completely understand I'm a stranger at first, and don't want to alter their daily routine. I also like to take note of what type of harness and leash is used during walks, and if they are crate trained for when I leave.

Please let me know before hand if your dog is not friendly towards other dogs. The safety of your pet is very important to me and I want to take the right precautions if necessity. I always follow any special instructions left for me and add some fun enrichment
A typical day
We will play any games they enjoy such as fetch, tug of war, and games/puzzles where they have to find their treats! This helps stimulate physical exercise as well as mental exercise. During walks, we will walk around the neighborhood for however long is requested

Availability
I am currently a college student so there are long periods of off time I have waiting between classes. I want to take advantage of this time by being productive. Who wouldn't wake to spend their free time with dogs?
