*** Currently ONLY accepting weekday EVENING/PM hours and weekends*** I believe dogs are such amazing companions,they deserve the best! They give us their all,the least we can do is the same! I know several dog parks in the area that I take my own pupper to in order to get out energy and help socialize him. I can get toys your dog(s) prefer to keep their minds busy and teeth happy. I have worked with the humane society in the Blue Ridge mountains and have seen the best and worst of what the world offers to these animals. I try to help be the good offered them! I am happy to accomodate your dogs specific needs and energy levels. I have open availability on weekends and cannot wait to meet new clients! Cats are also not a problem ❤️ Providing cuddles not cages! Also, if your dog needs their nails clipped or a trip to a local groomer,I am happy to drop off and pick up as needed with minimum two days notice depending on availability!

Heather is amazing! She made us feel at ease from our very first meeting. Never a worry as she kept us updated with pictures throughout our time away. It was clear that our kitties felt comfortable with her. She is very caring, warm and compassionate. We will definitely use her services in the future.
Heather did a fantastic job watching my dog Rocky. I felt at ease knowing she was watching my boy while I was out of town. Communication was daily and there was always many pictures sent across his stay which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Heather and will definitely be using her again in the near future :)
Hi, Heather is really good with dogs as she has a coonhound of her own, that she’s had for several years now. She is always actively playing with her dog and He is always well fed, healthy, and loving towards people. She loves animals, and is very caring towards them and would be a great candidate as a dog/pet sitter.
For as long as I have known Heather, she has always been the kind to take in strays,stop on the road to keep a dog from getting hit or kept an extra collar in her car! She has the heart for animals and it shows! She is compassionate and reliable. You will enjoy working with her!

Currently not offering boarding at this time until the new yard is fenced for a more pup friendly environment! In a clients home, each visit is tailored to the specific pet. I have had requests for ferrets cats and dogs and of course all those have different needs. Lots of pets and loves regardless!!
Information Heather S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog has had any traumas,if they are up to date on vet visits and socialized. I need to know if there are any sensitive spots the dog doesn't like to be pet in and if there are any allergies. I also need to know if they are comfortable around kids or have any thing that scares them such as thunder. Some dogs are afraid of certain genders. Does your baby get car sick? I would need to know your dog almost as well as you do!
A typical day
If your comfortable with your furbaby going to dog parks,that is always an option. A game of fetch in a fenced yard always is fun for everyone. Walks on the beach to splash in the water, or walking the sidewalks to help keep nails trimmed. Depending on the dog,I will have fetch toys and chew toys. I will create goodie bags for repeat clients who's pup can have their own favorite toy while with me.

I am currently only taking evening week day hours and weekends. I am able to visit your fur-baby after 5:15pm Monday through Friday and open availability for weekend hours!
