Pet care experience
I have been a training dogs to do everything from Search and Rescue to agility for 20 years and have been a Registered Veterinary Technician in emergency and critical care for 12. I can provide loving care for your oldsters, pets with chronic illness and diabetic pets. I have no problem giving subcutaneous fluids, insulin, oral medications, cleaning wounds and assisting with less moble animals. My personal dogs compete in dog sports and we are members of San Bernadino County Search and Rescue. I am comfortable with working and sporting dogs and don't mind throwing their beloved tennis ball 39476 times while I'm there.We can work on obedience, trick training or just get out for a long bike ride on the local dirt trails. I like cats, too!

Heather was great with our pups! Our older pup is fine with strangers outside the house but nervous of strangers in the house. Heather came over to meet and get to know them before our stay to make sure they’d be a good fit. We so appreciated this extra step. With treats and food in hand, she won him over but not only that, her experience as a trainer was obvious. She knew how to treat a fearful dog and gave him the space and time to get comfortable. We’re pleased the dogs made a new friend and that she’s so close by. Our dogs will be seeing her again for sure.

On hot days, I make sure we walk only in shady areas. If it's ok with you, I bring frozen treats and can provide a play pool for added fun. I LOVE crazy pets! I can take your dog on bike rides, play fetch in an enclosed area, play tug or work on your obedience commands! I have worked extensively with rehabilitating post- op pets and can help your oldsters retain or regain mobility using exercises I learned from my vet connections (with your vet's ok)
