Home full-time I'm a huge dog lover

Pet care experience

I've been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl and my parents got their first labrador. I have experience with tiny dogs, puppies, and up to 80lb dogs so far. I am home full-time and I'm looking forward to having a dog or two around to play with and go jogging/take walks with. There's nothing quite like having dogs around, they make me so happy I just want to adopt them all lol My fiancé and I are really looking forward to having dogs around here. I think it would be a great opportunity to get out more and just be more active in general, and having dogs around would bring so much life into our house I would just love it. I have helped train a few dogs with simple things like sit and stay and I bet I could help with your dog too! So if you'll please consider me for the job I won't let you or your dogs (big or small) down at all.

Heather was so amazing to our little baby! Him being part pit bull and me being picky with who watches him i thought i wouldn’t find a sitter, but Heather loved him from day 1 at our meet and greet. Me being a previous Rover sitter i can tell you that Heather does everything right! Constant pictures, updates, and play time with your pup! Highly recommend her for anyone who wants their pup to feel at home while you’re away! Thanks Heather!

Heather was amazing with our two dogs Benjamin and Thor. She definitely treated them like they were her own dogs and actually paid attention to them. We just dropped them off for another overnight stay and they ran right up to her, and usually they wouldn’t for another person. We will most definitely utilize her in the future.

Heather was awesome with our dog Dakota! She was available on short notice to take care of her and flexible on when and where to drop off and pick up. She was professional and took great care of Dakota. Dakota was very happy with Heather! Definitely will be booking again!

Information Heather S. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if they are spayed/neutered. Also if they have any special needs or medications that need to be given to them. I don't have any breed preferences, I'm up for anything. If one of the dogs does have extreme behavioral issues or is overly aggressive I would like to avoid that. As long as it's a friendly dog that won't bite me then I'm happy.

A typical day

Our neighborhood is very hilly with steep roads and dips and it would be a workout for both myself and the dogs to go on a walk around here. I think it would be great exercise for them and help them burn off some energy. I recently bought a huge cover for a futon I have in a spare room, so if the dogs wanted they could even sleep on that and call it their own giant dog bed. Our house is pretty spacious on the inside so the dogs would have plenty of space to run and play. We have squeaky toys, stuffed animals they can chew on, tennis balls to chase around, so I'm sure they could have a great time indoors or outdoors on some long walks. I'm sure you noticed that I do not have a fenced in yard, not to worry though! I promise to have an extra long retractable leash outside with me just in case the dogs gets excited or scared, because it is a new environment for them, they will not be able to run free through the neighborhood or get lost. That would be my worst nightmare and I promise to prevent that chance at all time.
