Heather was great! She took the time to meet Ryder beforehand as he is scared of people, but he took to her so we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. We were updated with pictures and notes on how he was getting along with her own pups and even warming up to her. Would definitely take Ryder back to stay with them.

Flexible Schedule, Love Walking!

What do you get when you blend an extreme dog lover with a talented baker? Me! Not only am I a doting fur mom to our two adorable pups, I have years of professional experience as a vet technician. On top of that, I recently graduated with an AS degree in Baking and Pastry in Culinary Arts. I have a lot of ideas of merging my passions and am currently developing a business plan to ...

What Heather & Richard would like to know about your dog

Before watching a pet I would like to know any behavioral tendencies, diet restrictions, allergies, and temperament. I have no breed preferences, all puppies are welcome! Obviously it will be helpful if your pup gets along with other dogs, but other than that, I have experience with all breeds and ages. Meet and greets are a wonderful way to get comfortable and answer key questions so that my fiance and I can provide the absolute best care. I will be the primary caretaker, but Richard will also help out when he’s home. We are both huge dog lovers. I’m actually one of those people who like to get on all fours, talking and playing with them like a little girl. Some may think it’s silly, but I love to play. If their diet allows, they will be spoiled with homemade dog treats. I’ll also send regular updates by text or photos, whatever method you’d prefer. We are an open book and home, so please feel free to contact us for any questions.

When Heather & Richard watches your pet

Our home is a large two-story house with hardwood floors and a yard that’s been outfitted for a doggy paradise. Padfoot and Toothless pretty much have a run of the place with baby gates, dog beds, crates, and toys everywhere! The backyard is large and is sectioned in two by a chain-link fence––it’s perfect for introducing new dogs or separating ones that need it. Our neighborhood is mostly quiet with a few parks nearby. Retama Springs is closest and your pup will love going on walks, probably meeting other pups and people along the way! Our favorite games are Frisbee, kickball, or just throwing a good old tennis ball. Sometimes we will fill up the baby pool or set up the sprinkler to really get crazy and cool things off. Padfoot loves basking in the sun while Toothless gnaws on a chew toy, so the more the merrier!
