Reviews
Heather was amazing! She house sat our rambunctious 11 month old Rottweiler for 3 nights while we were away on a ski trip. Heather was great with communication, sending us pictures and updates throughout our trip. Her experience was immediately evident when she suggested coming to the house to meet our Rottweiler prior to booking, which really put our minds at ease. Thanks Heather!

Currently I live with my brother and we have a dog of our own. My dog is a rescue and we think she may have had a difficult past, she is not friendly with other dogs which is why I only do pet sitting at the clients homes and do not take on boarding or daycare. For clients peace of mind, many of them tend to have cameras inside and outside their homes, as long as they’re disclosed to me, I do not mind! Clients usually provide me with a list of pet’s medications, allergies, emergency contacts, and veterinarian’s information. If not provided I always ask to ensure your pets have the best care!
Information Heather R. would like to know about your pet
What is dog’s normal day? running around a fenced in backyard, walks (how long and where? around neighborhood, beach, park?), car rides, etc. Is your dog friendly, have all of it’s shots, and is spayed/neutered to be around other dogs in public areas? Is your dog allowed on furniture? Does your dog take any medications? Who is your emergency contact and veterinarian? What food and treats is your dog allowed to have? how much? how often?
A typical day
I enjoy the dog park at Christopher Morley but am open to anything nearby - walking distance or a short car ride. I do not take dogs in the car on rainy days to avoid mud, but any other day is fine. I enjoy taking my own dog to the park at dusk when the other dogs are gone for the day and then going to the Starbucks drive thru for a dog friendly treat!

Availability
I currently am in school for my Masters in Mental Health Counseling and the program is fully online. I also work for a private practice part time and my position is remote. I have plenty of time to stay at home cuddling with fur babies or take them out for exercise; hiking, dog parks, pet friendly beaches.
