Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs as well as other animals for my entire life. , I definitely feel a house is not a complete home without a canine. I obtained my Associates degree in Animal Management and my Bachelors in Environmental Biology. I have been in the pet care industry for 9 years including pet store management, pet kennel operator, veterinary care, zoo & aquarium work, and have a certificate in dog training. I have watched over multiple animals & homes, including a farm with alpacas, chicken, and goats. I genuinely love all animals and their differing personalities. My goal is to make them all to feel at home, and to not stress so much when their pet parents are away.

This is was Peppers second time with Heather. Once again she took great care of our girl. She sent us pictures throughout the day to ensure us she was in good hands. Heather is always so very kind and we really do appreciate her!
Heather is wonderful with Laska and my crazy schedule! Laska can tend to be nervous around people but warmed up to her quickly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking at Rover. I was so skeptical about Rover, but not now. Heather will be my go to dog sitter every time!!

Heather was amazing with our pup! She sent many pictures throughout each day to ensured us that our girl was in good hands. Also, Heather was very accommodating with our drop off and pick up times. Very pleased and thrilled that our pup was safe and able to hangout with other dogs while we were away.

I have a fenced in yard and 3 friendly dogs. I can separate or crate as needed with spare rooms and by closing off the front yard if you so desire. My house is dog-friendly, meaning my pets are allowed to be on furniture and beds and yours can too unless you prefer otherwise. The back yard is shaded and a doggie pool is provided in warmer months. They are not left unattended or unsupervised in the yard for more than a few minutes and never left unattended if they need specific requirements or extra watching.

Fetch and chase around the backyard, kiddie pool in warm months, walks if asked by pet parents, relaxing in the air conditioned house, treats, brushing if they enjoy such.

I work full time but can be flexible in my off-season and weekends. I spend as much time home with my own animals as much as I can get. They are a priority.
