Pet care experience
After college I was a professional dog walker and sitter in Boston for a few years. Since moving to Texas I have fostered four dogs, all who were adopted, one of them by me. I have pet sat many times for friends and family for over 12 years. I live in North Austin TX in a 3 bedroom home. We have a large backyard with a privacy fence. We also have a dog door so pets can come in and out as they please. I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home one day a week. We are home every night and all day on the weekends. We are very responsible and will treat your pup like they were our own!

Heather was an AMAZING sitter. My husband and I were stressed about leaving our pups at home with a stranger (in addition to flying with an infant for the first time), but Heather made us feel right at ease, right away. She was extremely communicative, sent updates daily, and made sure to reach out if/when she had a question. She went out of her way to make our dogs feel safe and secure. She tidied up before we got home, which was super appreciated (and going above and beyond!). I'm convinced that she took care of our dogs better than we do.
Heather did a fantastic job with Bean for the second time! I appreciate her kindness and communication. I will continue using her incredible services!
Heather was great! We felt very comfortable having her stay with our dog and cat. She communicated well and sent pictures. The animals really seemed to enjoy having her here. I would definitely recommend using her!

I am fully vaccinated for Covid19 and am happy to wear a mask if requested :-) For Boarding: Pets have access to a large backyard space that is fenced in with a tall privacy fence. Pets sleep inside in our living room or in our guest room (depending on the pet). Pets are free to hang out with us inside the house or out in the yard. We also take our pup on daily walks and your pet is welcome to come with us! For House Sitting: When house sitting I treat your home as if it were my own. I sleep there every night and spend as much time at home with your pets as possible. I am able to work remotely three days a week so I can maximize more time at your home with your pets. Your house your rules! I'll never bring guests over to your house, the only exception being my husband may come over to say hello (only with your approval of course). I will be sure to follow any instructions left for me to care for your pet and your home.

Our pup is very dog friendly and loves to play. However we know other dogs may need a break or aren’t as enthusiastic about playtime. We are able to separate the dogs during their stay if needed. Play time is always supervised. Dogs are never left alone by themselves.
A typical day
We are blessed to live in a safe and beautiful neighborhood in North Austin. We enjoy walks around the neighborhood on a daily basis. Walks can be 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, or 60 minutes. Walks are always on leash and on the sidewalk. Our pup loves her daily walks and we know your pop will love them too!

Availability
We are home every night and all day on the weekend. My husband and I work from home a combined total of four days a week. Pets would only be alone for up to one day a week during the workday. We can provide a crate if needed. Otherwise we are home and ready for supervised play time with our pup, or relaxation time without our pup.
