Pet care experience
In a nutshell my husband & I can be describe as outdoorsy, pet lovers, dependable, and big hearted! We decided to become sitters because we love spending our free time with animals, I enjoy running and walking dogs, and frankly, our experiences as a Rover client has made us want to provide others with the same great experiences and peace of mind! We have two sweet & timid cats (Piko + Pimms) and a friendly dog (Murphy-lab mix, 50 pounds, male). We are located downtown Dayton so there are tons of great trails close by and a wonderful dog park. We have a large house and flexible work hours which makes it easy for us to create a customized stay/visit/walk for your pet. H & P

Heather has taken care of our chocolate lab on numerous occasions. She asks for detailed instructions and always treats him as though he were hers. He is fed, watered, exercised, and above all else, cuddled, so he feels loved even when we are not home. Any dog would be in good hands with Heather.
Heather is a great sitter! She is my go to dog sitter whenever I am in need. She spends good quality time with my dog and ensures she is taken care of (potty, food, water, etc.). She loves my dog as if it were her own and for that I am grateful. I highly recommend Heather if you are looking for someone responsible to look after you pet.

If staying in our home: Is your pet treated for fleas/ticks/heart-worm and had any relevant shots (e.g. rabies)? Does your dog play nicely with other dogs? Does your dog/cat do well with other cats? If not, that's OK, we can block off the top half of the house for our cats, with you pet spending their stay on the bottom floor. Has your dog been aggressive with other pets or been in a fight before? If yes, we may not be the best home for your pet to stay in.
A typical day
Playing with our dog, Murphy! Murphy is the friendliest dog around and submissive to other dogs. He is neutered and always up to date on all his shots/treatments. Lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs! Walks or runs on the wonderful trails near our home. Romping around and playing with dog toys/balls in our fenced in backyard. Basic obedience training. We are comfortable with dogs relaxing on any of the couches or beds.
