We also have a unique dog walking service where we pick up your dog(s) M-F mid-day and take them to our private, fenced-in dog park. We closely monitor the "dog party" and bring your dog home after an hour's worth of play. Your dog is returned happy, relaxed and eager to go on another adventure. This service is for Dexter and Ann Arbor residents, and your dog must pass a personality check at a public dog park. Our dog palace includes a kennel with a limestone dog "litter box." Dogs access the kennel via a giant-breed dog door connected to our dog-friendly basement with dog-only leather couches. Upstairs we have hardwood floors, cool slate (which large breeds love), dog toys, and washable paint. Yep, we love dogs! Our family provides 'round-the-clock care. We have two children (ages 11 and 14) who are very respectful of all animals and are trained to approach new dogs with caution until the dogs are comfortable with them. We also have a Newfoundland puppy (Mable) and two rats in a cage. The rats are very tolerant of barking and sniffing noses. They will reside in locked room when your dog is in residence.
