We have two social dogs that love company! We have been dogsitters for almost ten years and enjoy all types, breeds, and activity levels of dogs. We would love to come to your home and play, watch the house, and take care of things while parents are out of town! We will hike, swim, play, and nap. I cannot say enough about how great Heather and Tommy were in caring for our 3 fur babies at our house. From the 1st minute of accepting the booking, the communication from them was quick and often, answering my every question, providing me info, giving me zero reasons for concern. Our babies were so happy, healthy, and our house was left better than when we left it to them. It really was the most perfect experience that we could have ever asked for and it allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about our babies wellbeing. I recommend Heather and Tommy 10000%!
Heather and Tommy were easy to work with and made us feel comfortable leaving our pups at home for a few days. The dogs took to them right away and house was well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Heather is absolutely wonderful! She was very accommodating and welcomed our dog into her home as if she was her own. My husband and I had an early flight and Heather even let us drop off our dog that morning, which was a huge help to us. As soon as we landed in Maui we already had an update on how our dog was doing along with pictures of her snuggled up on the couch. Throughout our entire trip Heather sent us updates which was very reassuring that our furbaby was having a good time while we were away. We cannot say enough good things about Heather and the care she provided for our pet during her stay. We will definitely be using Heather's services again in the future! :)
In all honesty although Heather had really good reviews we still had reservations because we do not leave them very often. We met Heather and her boyfriend Tommy at the Ala Wai dog park before their stay to make sure their 3 dogs and our Gyoza and Temari got along which they did. I dropped our fur babies off Wednesday morning and boarded our flight to New York that afternoon. Right when we landed in New York a text message with pictures was already waiting which put our minds at ease. She sent at least 1 or 2 pictures of them during each day of their stay and gave us small updates to ease our worries. I would definitely recommend her and would definitely use her again in the future.

We do not have a breed preference. We have hosted dogs of all sorts of personalities and sizes, and our social dogs love having company! Mali is still very much a puppy and has lots of energy. Peanut is older, but he loves to run around and play...he's very, very busy all the time! Brutus sleeps most of the day as he is an older dog.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a lovely neighborhood for walking. There are lots of hills, so its good for a workout! We also hike frequently and go to the beach, so please let us know if you like to run around and swim in the water. We try to spend some time at the dog park in town (attached to the Humane Society on King/Wailae) at least once a week. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep wherever he or she is comfortable! Our fur children are crate trained but sleep with us at night. Often, they choose to sleep in their crates as this is their "home". Time I'll spend with your dog We are both gone during parts of the day, depending on our schedules. Your dog would spend anywhere from one to eight hours away, depending on which one of us is able to work from home! At most, the dogs would be alone for eight hours.
