Pet care experience
I am an experienced and loving pet owner; Dottie the dog and Percy the cat would welcome guests and visits from friends on overnight stays. I'd be pleased to meet, greet, exercise, and entertain your pup regularly or on an as-needed basis in your own home, or your dog can visit my home and frolic in the fenced-in yard with Dottie, or take a car ride to the beach or a local hiking trail. Tick checks and belly rubs will certainly follow any outside time. I'm happy to reinforce any training your dog is accustomed to, as well as introduce and work with your dog to learn new habits. You will receive written details of our time together, as well as an occasional photo of your pup playing, or just posing for the camera.

Heather did a great job looking after our dog Murphy (130 pound Rottweiler). She sent plenty of pictures and gave us status reports on him. He was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using Heather again.

Quiet dogs are preferred, as well as easy-going, relaxed dogs. I'd like to know if the dog has any spots on his/her body he/she does not like being petted. Also, I'd like to know whether the dog has any anxieties, preferences, or other needs that I should cater to. Please let me know if your dog has a tendency to run away, and of course, I'd want to ensure the dog is even-tempered and well-behaved with other animals and children.
A typical day
We will walk through your neighborhood, maybe drive to the beach. We'll run and play tag, tug-of-war, and fetch. We'll also find time for belly rubs.
