I am a 46 year old animal lover. I grew up in a split household part time on a farm in Colorado and part time in the suburbs. We always had all kinds of animals from dogs and bunnies to horses and cattle. I love being around animals and try to facilitate giving them as much joy and love as they give us unconditionally. My roommates at this time are two rescued Shihtzu's, named Gertie and Leia. They are sweet girls of the age of 5 and 6. Gertie is very laid back and loves hugs and Leia is goofy and loves to play. Both are sweet with every person or animal he meets with the exception that Leia can be a little stand-offish until she gets to know you. I recently moved to Fountain Hills, AZ from Oregon and am self employed so my schedule varies and can be flexible and I can be home with the furry one's most of the time. We have always had cats or dogs as part of our family. I am usually the one family member who volunteers to take care of any of my family's pets and my experience has mostly been doing it for free for family and friends but I would treat your pet as loving as I do any of the furry friends that have come into my family or house. About my yard I currently do not have a yard but am happy taking everyone on a good walk or I would be happy to take them to a dog park also. My experience administering medication Yes, before I had Gertie and Leia (who are in good health at this time) I had two best friends that required consistent medical help. Wiley had chronic ear infections and allergies. I also recently laid to rest my other pups who suffered from liver cancer for over a year and who required meds and extra TLC. I am used to administering meds for him. In addition, I worked for 5 years in a pet pharmacy and am familiar with most medications for animals.
