Pet care experience
I have had a passion for animals since I was a kid .I grew up with many small pets (hamsters, ferrets, gerbils, bunnies, chinchillas, goldfish, birds, and cats). Fun fact, I traveled to Africa five years ago for a safari. I became a dog owner 15 years ago and have been ever since. I have been a proud dog mom to two chihuahuas and a lab mix, who were all rescues. I currently still have my baby Magic, who is the lab mix. If boarding, then Magic and your pup will be roomies, so I require a meet and greet before the booking to ensure it’s a good fit! Dog Boarding also requires dates on vaccines, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention for the safety of both our dogs. I have experience working with dogs of all ages, trauma, epileptic, anxiety, skittish, medicated, puppies, and untrained. I have a lot of patience with animals, and you can rest assured your pet will be in great hands with me!

Heather was great with taking care of my cat over Christmas. She made sure to play with him and put in the effort to get him out of his shell.
Heather was so wonderful to our puppy, Suki while we were out of town. Suki was stressed without us for the 1st time and got an upset tummy & Heather went out of her way to cook him rice and chicken. We can't thank her enough for taking such good care of our little man!
Heather was phenomenal with my 3 year old Shiba Inu for Thanksgiving break. She kept me updated all week with photos and check ins on how he was doing. I felt very comfortable and confident in her competence, especially as it was my first time boarding my dog for a long trip. She’s very knowledgeable and is a natural with dogs! Highly recommend!
Heather is a wonderful pet sitter! She is responsive and responsible. I knew from her initial message that my kitty would be in great hands. While I was away she came over and played with my cat, had cuddle time, refreshed his water and food dishes, cleaned the litter box, and even cleaned up a poopy accident in the bedroom! She is kind and caring. Will definitely be scheduling with her again the next time I travel!

If your pets stay with me, I live in an apartment with a courtyard-facing patio where they can sunbathe all day! If I step out of the house while your dog stays with me, I have a dog cam- don’t worry, I'll only leave for a short period (I.e., errands or a gym session). The cam sends me alerts of activity and barking. Furbo also allows me to talk to the dog and throw treats.

I would love to know about your dogs routine (sleep, eating, walks, bathroom breaks, play), behaviors (anxieties, aggression, training level, etc.), likes/dislikes (with me, other dogs, feedings, etc.), commands (sit, stay, leave it, lay, etc.) and anything else fun you’d like to share! ***** RULES TO BOOKING. PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING (Contact me, and we can discuss it before finalizing the booking details)***** - If you are not within walking distance of my home, then drop-in visits walks, and house sitting at your home will increase by $5 due to travel costs that I will incur while caring for your animal. - Pets that require extra care require a $5/$10 increase per night for boarding. This fee can be elevated based on any special accommodation (i.e., senior dogs, behavioral / training issues, medication administration, diapers, extra TLC, extra accommodation w/ food, potty training, etc.). - I'm pet sitting, not doing house chores for you, but if you need me to water plants, check mail, turn lights on, etc., we can further discuss an additional $5 per day. - I trust you will be financially responsible for any incidents in my home by your pet during your visit. (i.e., damages to the furniture and personal belongings, professional carpet cleaning due to accidents, anything I may need to purchase for your pet due to an emergency [w/ your consent first], $250 rover fee for injuries to myself or my dog by your pet). - Please be transparent about your pets' behavior. If your dog has ever shown any aggression or been in a fight w/ another dog, then I will not board your dog, as my dog's safety is most important to me. ****
A typical day
I enjoy taking walks within the neighborhood, trails, and parks. Together we can go to the dog park, hike, play fetch and tug a war, run (my favorite thing to do with my dog), Netflix and cuddle, etc.!

I'm currently working full-time Monday to Friday from home, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets. I'm a full-time Dog-mom myself :)
