Hello, My name is Heather. I am a registered nurse, but I am currently a full-time graduate student, working on my MSN-to-FNP. I have a three year old lovable, friendly, and playful Australian Shepherd named Skadi. I also have a one year old spunky, playful, and protective Australian Shepherd named Magni. Both are spayed and neutered and great with other animals, regardless of their size, age, or disability. We offer a comfortable home, all day/night interaction and companionship for your loved one. We have an extra large crate with fluffy bedding inside, if your fur baby prefers naps and overnights in a crate and we have an orthopedic dog bed as well, however, we allow fur babies on the beds and furniture (as our fur babies sleep in our bed). We go on multiple daily walks, love to hike, play ball, frisbee, and lots of other things outside in our large backyard (we own lots of dog toys), and we go swimming often at the bay or dog beach (primarily during the summertime). The dog park down the street from our home is another place we frequent. Most if not all of our friends have animals, so our dogs are well socialized, as we take them almost everywhere with us. We keep the dog treat bin stocked full, all treats are either RAW, freeze dried, 100% real meat, locally made and bought dog cookies in various flavors, and locally sourced and bought frozen goat milk yogurt treats, which are all are free of byproducts and other negative ingredients. We like to keep our food items as healthy and as safe as possible for our dogs and yours. My husband and I have grown up with and have been around dogs and other animals our entire lives and we absolutely love ALL animals! We have lots of experiencing handling dogs with different physical, mental, and emotional disabilities and medical conditions. We have rescued several dogs, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and found them their forever homes. We understand that pets become family members and that’s exactly how we will treat yours! We do request pet owners bring their own food, as our Skadi girl is on a special diet due to past GI problems. Pick up and drop off times are negotiable, we try to be as flexible as possible :). We also offer pick up and drop off, if that is helpful to you. It’s hard leaving your family member, we get that, and we aim to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We want them to feel as thought they’re at their own house when you’re away, with hopes of relieving you of any worries you may have. We send pictures, videos, and can be contacted anytime day or night via phone. We prefer to send pictures regardless of request, because we feel it’s important and who doesn’t want to take and see pictures of adorable animals? When your fur baby stays with us, they join our family!
