I have two of my own dogs currently and have owned them for my entire life. I also regularly help take care of others pets. I also have knowledge of birds, fish, cats, bunnies, and chickens. I grew up around animals and love playings with them. I have morning, midday, and evening availability with flexibility around my regular job of teaching. Even with shy pets, I tend to get them to open up to me over time. I'm also more than willing to do little things around the house like grabbing mail, bringing trash to the curb, small cleaning jobs, or getting supplies if you need. I think dogs especially will love the attention and care they receive so that the stress of missing owners is minimized.
