Pet care experience
I have Integrity, I do the next right thing even if no one is looking. Also, I always treat other’s peoples homes the way I would treat my own. As for my experience, I grew up with various breeds/sizes of cats and dogs. We had 10 Yellow Lab/Irish Setter puppies at one time. I helped fundraise to get my friend's daughter an autism service dog. I housed it and helped train it. I also was blessed to take care of a beautiful pit bull mix for awhile. We now have a sweet Paperanian named Henry and we have 3 guinea pigs. We, my son and I do this together as much as we can. He is 16, loves animals and they love him (even the ones that sometimes don’t like men). I will ask or please let me know if this is ok before I bring him and you are welcome too meet him before hand as well.

In my home they would not go out off leash outside as my yard is not fully fenced. I always make sure they are safe whether in a harness, on a leash or in the owners fenced in yard. I am very safety conscious.

Information Heather L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they pull their walker so I can be prepared if so. I would like to know how they react around other dogs when walking. (Either way I avoid other dogs as much as possible on walks because I don’t know how the other dog will react.) I would like to know how you prefer to handle unwanted behavior if there is any, to be consistent with your training. I would like to know any unique information, like if they may be stubborn and stop and sit mid-walk and not want to continue, or if they have an aversion to garbage cans, etc. Is jumping to greet allowed? If not what commands are used to deter the behavior? If we are on a walk and they do their business and pull to return home, do you prefer I let walk them back home or continue the walk for the full allotted time? Are they treat or food motivated? Might they be food aggressive at times? I want to know anything to best care for your pet.
A typical day
I know my area well and will look up trails or ask for recommendations in an owners area for preferential places they like to walk. I jump and run with dogs to give them much needed exercise. I would be happy to take them to local dog parks. Near my home that would be Chambers Bay.
