Pet care experience
I've been taking care of all types of animals since I was little, from puppies to kittens to injured wild birds. I have taken animal CPR, I attended animal behaviour college, this school helped me understand each breeds unique needs and wants. Knowing how to calm an anxious puppy that is missing their home and family is a huge plus. All pets are treated like family in my home, with a fully fenced half acre yard. We have had many of our own awesome pets that we have lost to old age, it never gets easier. Your pet family member will be happy and well loved.

Heather is amazing with our doodle Leo. Leo is scared of people and easily startled to new noises. Heather treats him like her own. We love receiving pictures of our dog while away. We continue to book with Heather as Leo now trusts her and has a great time with the other dogs there as well
I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate Heather! Our dog gets excited when he sees us putting his crate in the car because he knows he's going to Heather's and nothing puts my nerves at ease like knowing that our dog feels safe and at home when he's in her care! She's top tier, it's no contest!
Heather took great care of my lab Ellie. She sent updates with pictures which put my mind at ease.
Heather has been absolutely amazing for our pup! So accommodating and kind! Cannot express how much we appreciate someone TRULY caring for our dog as if he were their own. That’s heather & her husband. He leaves their house absolutely exhausted and clearly having had a great time. Thanks heather!!

My yard is half an acre, fully fenced. With winter coming and the weather changing all animals are welcome in our home. I do not like to crate animals unless the animal desires it for their own comfort.

A typical day
I have a very large yard where we can get a lot of ball time in or just chill on the grass in the sun. If the weather is bad we have plenty of inside space to hang out and play games.
