Anne Arundel Premier Cat Sitter

Pet care experience

From an early age, I've had pets - hampsters, fish, cats, dogs. My love of animals went so far as to study Environmental Science and Marine Biology. Now, after a career in Television and Marketing, I've decided to take a step back to my roots. Working with Rover is more than taking a dog for a walk. It's about going beyond fulfilling the basic needs of the animal. I always leave things better than when I found them - eg. cleaning food bowls, refilling water, cleaning cat boxes, providing basic training, etc. Socialization of your pets is the most important part of pet care. It's known that when in isolation animals withdraw. It's my job to ensure your pets get more than basic socialization. Their time with me will be mentally and emotionally stimulating. I will love them like they were members of my own pack. I am available for walks/visits 7 days a week from 8a until 8p. Mommy’s Helper: I have a daughter in 2nd Grade. Occasionally, I need to bring her with me. This allows me to have a good work/life balance AND teach her the importance of responsibility & work ethic. She will never be left alone in your home or with your fur babies. I can't wait to hear from you! Privately Insured Business via Pet Care Insurance. American Red Cross Certification: Cat and Dog First Aid (ID: 00773LE / Expires: 2/27/22) PetsitUSA Member: Expires 3/20/22 I treat all pets as if they were my own. At your home or mine, they’ll get all my attention. Lots of love and fun.

Heather was great with our young pup, and we’ll definitely have her puppy sit again!

Heather did a great job looking after our cats in our home while we were away. Would highly recommend!

Heather was excellent! She spent time to make our cats more comfortable with her, and went above and beyond by cleaning up when they knocked items off our shelves. We will definitely choose Heather again for future visits.

Information Heather L. would like to know about your pet

Every breed is welcomed! However, I do need to know if your animals are sensitive - submissive or aggressive - to other animals or smells.

A typical day

Perhaps your dog likes to snuggle or your cat likes to play fetch. I bring a few toys and treats on every walk/visit. This allows me to identify what motivates them AND provide customized fun.
