Hello! My name is Heather! To say I’m an animal lover is an understatement. I currently work investigating child abuse and neglect for the state but prior to that I worked 6 years at Pete and Mac’s Pet Resorts as a shift lead. You’ll even find my picture on the main website for Pete and Mac’s across the US! I was in charge of special needs dogs/cats, led both large and small dog daycare, customer service, in charge of administering medication, basic feeding and cleaning, and loving on the guests! I was highly trained in pet care and safety. I have been handling all types of dogs, no dog is too big or small for me! I’ve also been trained in handling cats especially when they have a hard time adjusting when their owners are away. I absolutely miss working with animals and would so enjoy taking care of your pets again!

Heather stayed with our two dogs overnight and she was amazing. Our one dog is super shy and a little cautious about new people but Heather did an amazing job with him.
We love fur babies and so does she. They love when she comes.

For boarding: I live in a townhome which is dog friendly. Your pet will be walked on a leash and will be properly secured. If you would like your dog crated, one will be provided.

A typical day
I am able to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically. We can play with toys or whatever your pet enjoys doing (even if that’s just a nap!) During walks, they’ll have plenty of time to check out the neighborhood and all the smells.

Availability
I work full-time during the week but typically can stop by around lunch time for potty breaks. I work from 8am-5pm at my full time job. *Note* for boarding, drop offs and pick-ups will have to be after 5:30PM during the week.
