As a veterinary assistant who loves to get outdoors and get active, I'd love to take your dog along for the adventure! I've worked as a veterinary assistant for almost two years, and have numerous years of experience working with dogs through volunteering and grooming. I love hiking, running, and getting out to the park, so your dog is sure to come home happier and calmer. I know how important it is to engage your pet throughout the day with check-ups and regular exercise to boost both physical and mental health, so I'd be happy to help you and your pet with this essential part of daily life. I’m mostly available on weekdays, in the evenings on Monday through Wednesday and all day Thursday and Friday. Special trips for your dogs can be organized - if you’d like for me to take them to a specific park, on a hike, or some other kind of outdoor adventure, I’d be happy to do so! A pick up and drop off fee will apply depending on travel distance. If you are going out of town and would like for me to care for your critters in your absence, that can be easily arranged! Unfortunately, due to my cat and the size of my small apartment, I won’t be able to bring them into my home. However, I’d be happy to do check ups and walks three times daily for a special rate. I’m also available to house sit if you would prefer that I stay with your pets overnight! I’m comfortable around all kinds of critters, whether they’re furry, feathered, or scaly, and can do home visits for many different species. Due to my experience interning in an exotic species vet clinic and my time bird-sitting for various clients, I’m happy to care for all kinds while you’re away! If you are interested in a house sitting stay, please note that I like to do meet and greets before a visit, so make sure to request your stay with enough notice to organize a meet up beforehand. Additionally, for longer stays I would like to do a trial walk with your pup before the stay so that I can ensure that they will be comfortable with me entering the house and already familiar with my presence!
