Animal care from a professional!

Pet care experience

**16yrs experience in offering Professional Boarding, Daycare, and Training. I have Ran and operated in home and commercial facilities during this time.** I started training dogs in 2010, and then opened my professional training company. Now I follow my passion with helping people and dogs live peacefully together, and enrich both human and the dog's life. I am constantly learning more from new books, classes, and conferences every year, and have mentors across the world who help me continue my education and expand my knowledge. I strive to have the most effective and fair way of communicating with dogs. I have worked with over 10,000 dogs to date, and would love to care for yours as well! I have 12 years of experience in: -Canine psychology and behavior -Pack psychology -Dog Training & Behavior -Dog Walking -Owning and Operating a Dog Boarding & Daycare facility -Puppy whelping and training before 8 weeks and puppy development (ENS and puppy culture programs) -Canine Anatomy and Nutrition -Raw Nutrition and Holistic/Natural Health -Canine Theriogenology (Study of reproduction and breeding) -Obedience Training -Off Leash Training -Gentle E-collar methods -Training Through Play -Canine Cognition (aka “Dognition”) and Emotion -Canine Evolution -Animal Welfare and Law -Essential Oils for Animals In my 12 years of Professional business, I have offered: -Group Puppy Classes -Group E-Collar Classes -Group Walking Classes -Pack Walks -Private Lessons working in Obedience and behavior modification -Board and Train options where dogs live with me while they are being trained -In Home Boarding -In Home Daycare -Agility Classes -Swimming Classes It is what I do for a living 24/7. All day, every day, we take care of animals, train owners, and also train staff at daycare and boarding facilities on proper safety measures, husbandry, and Standard Operating Procedures. We have taken care of a minimum of 3 dogs all the way up to 30 dogs on a daily basis. These days, with our current lifestyle, we keep our numbers to around 8 in our home. Every day, they get walks, play time, fun activities, and rest time. Every day is an adventure here! BOARDING/DAYCARE: I offer a safe, comfortable place for your dog. I have large and small crates available for nap times with blankets, beds, and play soft music for them if I have to leave. Your pets are part of our family while they stay with us. Their safety and wellbeing are our main concern. If they have to be left during the day, I always separate and crate everyone to keep them safe, as well as at night. Every day, they get multiple opportunities to play with the other dogs and/or toys if they so choose, love and attention, and structure in the home so they know exactly what is expected of them. *We have children, and we schedule our day around our clients. Please be on time for your drop off appointments! Drop off times: 7:00-8:00am Pick up times: 4:00-6:00pm We do not offer services for reactive or aggressive dogs at this time. All dogs coming into our home must be good with other animals and children.

Thank you for caring for Wick while we were at Zion National Park. I appreciate the picture. I know he’s very active and playful. I’m glad he got along with your cats.

Heather was great. She communicated well and Sukhi was immediately drawn to her. Would highly recommend Heather for day care for your dog, while you visit the parks or just need a day without your fur baby.

Heather was amazing with our puppy, Indie, she kept us updated with pictures and even a video. The training she does with the dogs she's boarding is an added plus.

Information Heather H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medication, injuries, supplements, is fed raw, etc. I run a structured home, so your dog will be plenty tired and happy when they go home! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE senior dogs, and would love to watch your old dogs while you're away! That's where my heart is, mostly. **I do not take on dogs who aren't friendly with kids or other dogs at this time**

A typical day

It all depends on the day! A typical day starts with a potty walk (15min) and then come back in and play time for another 15-30min or so, and then breakfast. Everyone is then settled down to digest their food. Cuddles, activities, and 2-3 more potty breaks throughout the day. In the evening: dinner, another final potty walk, then bedtime! Activities could include: walks 2x/day, play time inside, cuddling, swimming at Sand Hollow, kayaking, and hiking! It all depends on what we are doing that day! Your dogs come with us for all our daytime activities! I incorporate your dog into our daily life every day! One of the things that sets us apart is my extensive knowledge of canine behavior, anatomy, health, and nutrition. I have been in the dog industry for 16 years! I have been training, boarding, running daycare, participating in rescue/shelters, and teaching workshops for that long. I enjoy watching dogs play together, and learn from each other. I also enjoy teaching people about proper dog play! Let's let dogs be dogs, while offering safe, structured activities for them to exercise their brains!
