I am an all-around animal lover and will care for any type pet you have. I have 2 cats whom I adore, and I've had dogs off and on over the years. Caring for other people's dogs is a great way to satisfy my doggie cravings. I also hope to make a bit of money and new furry friends! I am not too special in regards to what sets me apart from other sitters, but I am punctual and friendly, and I don't bite. I am the one in my family who cooks and cleans and cares for the pets, so I can do almost the same for you. If your pet has special needs, you give me detailed instructions, and I will manage fine. I am triple vaccinated against COVID. I wash my hands in between pet visits, or I use hand sanitizer.

I've started boarding dogs in my home for when you go away. I do not have a completely fenced yard, but your dog will be walked a minimum of 3 times during the stay. I only board 1 dog at a time. Your dog will be alone for brief periods when I do my other walks and pet visits. I only board dogs I have an ongoing relationship with as when boarding with me, your dog will be a part of my family! Boarding rates are for a 24 hour period. House sitting is limited to pets that live within a 5-mile radius. House sitting usually entails 12 hours of constant care with check-ins/walks at other times. House sitting duties can be custom tailored to your needs. I cannot provide 24-hour complete care except on a weekend. 24 hour complete care would be an additional charge. I can do a mixture of services if one service doesn't satisfy your needs: ie, dog can board with me, but I can check on your house while you are away to get mail, water plants, etc. Dogs can be house sat but can travel to my house or to a park for brief times, etc.

A typical day
I love walking in parks and around your neighborhood. I'm a hobby gardener, so I like to visit public gardens on occasion. I try to vary walks with your dog if you book repeating walks, as it gives your dog new things to see and smell. I also encourage "sniffing" as this stimulates a dog's mind more and tires them out. I don't usually walk dogs like we are running a race, although I've been known to run with dogs across open fields!

Availability
My profile is not public, but the link can be shared for referrals. I will care for any pets of clients I serve currently or in the past. I will also care for pets if they are referred to me from current clients. I'm booked most Monday - Friday 10-2. Other times I am flexible and usually available. I usually arrive to appointments on the scheduled time. Occasionally, there are appointments back-to-back. I will arrive to all appointments, but they could be earlier or later by 30 minutes. This is because dogs don't always walk the same pace the entire walk, and walks or visits could be running off schedule due to various reasons. Please be patient, and I assure you I will visit your pet!
