Ever since I was a little girl living at home with my parents I was rescuing dogs from the street. I have been with the same veterinarian since 1993. I was also a first-place fundraiser for the Humane Society of Greater Miami walk for the animals for 8 years in a row. I have definitely given back and saved hundreds of homeless dogs rescuing rehabilitating and rehoming. I also have my own little pack of dogs and I have a very extensive background caring for animals. Right now I have a pretty flexible schedule and based on how much notice you give me I can probably accommodate your needs with open availability unless of course I have another booking. I have several dogs of my own. I am available for boarding in my home and you will have 5 star service.. your dog will be treated as if it were my child!!

Heather was a petsitter for my dog Angel and my many cats. She did an amazing job with Angel, feeding her and walking her. She even recommended some medicines and nutrients that cam help Angel's joints. She did a terrific job with Angel and the cats. I highly recommend Heather as a petsitter.
Heather is the only person in my circle that I know of that I always see go above and beyond when it comes to rescuing, providing, and caring for all pets. I have personally had to go rescue beetles from the curving point of the Golden Gate Bridge to seeing her countless times telling her friends she’s on her way but had to go deliver food or find a foster home for a new rescue she encountered on the way. And still, nothing compares to her level of commitment when it comes to being the voice for the hundred voiceless Furry friends at the shelters as she raises funds for them. All in all, Heather can do the job when it comes to caring for and providing needs for all animals. Being surrounded with animals is what makes Heather special and unique.
I highly recommend Heather as a pet caregiver!! She has an amazing work ethic and her trustworthiness and honesty are unparalleled! She loves animals and cares for them as members of her family. I have been doing dog rescue over 35 years and I have never lost a dog. I don't even really understand how anybody loses a dog. To me the word dog equals child. Your dog will be treated as if it were my own child. I consider my dogs my children. To me, there is no difference. My yard is completely enclosed and there is absolutely zero chance of a dog being able to escape. Not only that but just because I have a yard doesn't mean that I leave the dogs in the yard unattended. I understand that things can still happen and I am very overprotective. I also am aware of toads in Florida and I don't have them.

I love all breeds and can handle a strong dog. I have been doing rescue for over 30 years and I do understand that there are many different behaviors. If there is anything special I need to know about your dog such as whether he is aggressive towards other dogs or anything you need to let me know particularly about his temperament please make sure that we have that conversation.
A typical day
Dogs are my life. I am always playing with my own dogs and everybody tells me how well-behaved and well mannered and sociable my dogs are because they know what love is. Your dog will know the same. We will play a lot and they will be pampered and pet and hugs and kissed and they will have chance to play in the yard with each other. In my house there is a lot of socialization.

Availability
I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. Because of this diagnosis, I am not able to work a normal job which I have always done. This type of work goes well with my lifestyle. I am definitely at home a lot and your dog will be tended to and cared for with lots of attention. I don't have to leave very often and my goal is to make sure that if I have your dog you will be very happy.
