Hi there! I look forward to welcoming your dog into my home and treat him/her like my own. I have an 11 year old Shih Tzu mix named Whiskey and he means the world to me. We love to go for long walks and visit the local dog friendly cafes and breweries. Whiskey is a lovable and friendly little guy who loves to spend time with other dogs. With age, he is starting to become grumpy around high-energy dogs that might jump on him or play too aggressively, so a meet and greet is necessary to make sure our dogs will get along. I have eight years experience caring for dogs solo, and seventeen years experience caring for dogs within a family setting. I work on SMU's campus on Monday-Thursday for about six hours, but I also have lots of flexibility to work from home outside of my teaching hours, so I can spend lots of quality time with your dog when he/she is here. Whiskey sleeps in my bed and lounges on the furniture and your pup is welcome to do so as well. I can also maintain any no-furniture rules you might have. I usually take Whiskey for one long walk or two shorter walks per day, but he loooves to walk and we can accommodate any of your walking preferences. I know how important our fur babies are and it can be hard to leave them behind. I will care for your dog like my own and I guarantee I will send daily photos of your furbaby! I prefer to only take one dog at a time to ensure superb care. We can't wait to welcome your fur baby into our home!
