I've cared for animals (dogs, rabbits, cats, horses) since I was 8. I have fostered, volunteered, pet-sat and cared for my own for over 30 years. My dog is part of my family and your pets will be too.

We have trusted heather to care for our dogs several times now. She is so responsive and on top of everything. Our dogs have a blast staying with her and are always very well cared for!
Heather and her dog Remi took good care of Quincy while we were away. She kept with Quincy’s regular diet, gave her lots of exercise and love! Heather also provided informative daily updates and photos. I think Quincy was very happy at her home away from home.
We are pretty sure our dogs would rather live full time with Heather than us! We boarded our 2 dogs with Heather for our 2 December vacations. It was our first time using her and Rover. We feel so relieved to have found Heather to use her for any future needs. After seeing how she cared for them I would never board them in a facility again and will continue to use her as long as she’s available. She sent us updates, walked our dogs, played with our dogs, spoiled them, and loved on them. We know our dogs loved being at her house. ❣️

I walk the dogs every morning and/or afternoon. Depending on their energy level, I could walk them 1-7 miles daily. If your dog prefers to jog/run, I could accommodate that as well.

A typical day
I love to provide daily walks and exercise through walks and outdoor play. We will explore the neighborhood with numerous trails available and different scenery options. I am also game for playing endless fetch. There are several breeds that love this type of interaction throughout the day.

Availability
Boarding Requests: I work from home full-time. I am never gone for extended periods of time, and the dogs have the ability to go in/outside as they please. Please let me know if you prefer crating your dog when away. I do have a crate and can accommodate your pup if necessary. House-sitting Requests: I can make frequent visits, and stay for extended periods of time (work from your home during the day). I am not able to stayover at client's homes. We can work together to determine the best schedule and needs for your pup. As an alternative, you may consider boarding your pup(s) at my home. A meet and greet can be arranged to determine if that's the best solution.
