Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, and rabbits, all in the same house! I have also gone to many obedience courses with my black lab mix, where I learned more about how to care for dogs than my dog learned about obedience lol. My dog is recue who was re-homed 3 times before I adopted him, so I know how to care for dogs that are reactive around new people.
Reviews
Heather is so friendly and took great care of Sirius! We loved getting updates and knowing our doggo was well cared for!
Heather is great! She was very good at communicating and sent updates about our dog everyday.
Heather was great! Very communicative and flexible with our schedule. I also appreciated that she sent periodic updates with pictures & videos throughout the weekend. The dogs loved her. I would highly recommend Heather!
Heather is an absolutely fantastic dog mother who has raised her shelter-adopted dog from a shy, scared little puppy, into a social, happy, and snuggly canine companion. I can't think of anyone better suited to care for a dog, no matter the dog's needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I always start with a gentle approach until I learn the pet’s behaviors. I believe it’s important to give them space when they need alone time, and give them attention when they need some love.
Information Heather F. would like to know about your pet
How they react to other people as well as other dogs is very important! I want to make sure I keep your dog away from stressful situations.
A typical day
I have a knack for finding the best shaded walks during the summer :) I also think mental stimulation is just as important as physical, so complex treat balls and feeders are a great tool!
