Pet care experience
Being a dog lover, I can relate to the difficulty of leaving your pet in someone else's care. I have hired dog sitters thru Rover too, and found characteristics that make one sitter stand out more than another. No one will love your dog the way you do, but your dog in my care will be loved and played with. I am patient and kind, loving and caring. I will stay in communication with you and send pictures while you are away, because that's what I would want! I own a sweet golden doodle and have had dogs growing up.

Heather and her family made us feel very comfortable leaving our puppy with them for a long weekend. She sent updates and pictures frequently, and responded to us promptly!
We needed a sitter last minute for our puppy and Heather was able to accommodate us. She sent pictures and updates. Really made my shy puppy feel at home.
We had our dog Izzy stay with Heather for a weekend. Heather has a dog of her own and then will sit for 2 other dogs. I like that Izzy was in a small group. Heather sent lots of pictures and updates. We took Izzy's crate so she would have something familiar. We would definitely have her watch Izzy again when needed.
Heather is amazing! She took such a great care of our dog while we were out of town. She sent lots of photos and gave us updates so we knew how things were going. I would highly recommend her!!

What are some commands that you use to communicate with your dog? Is your dog a runner? A barker? Please provide feeding times and amount, a collar, a leash, a toy and something cozy - like a blanket (something that brings comfort and smells like "home").
A typical day
Change of scenery is the name of the game. Some fresh air is good for all of us! Dogs can play in the back yard with balls and toys and chase each other around. Or maybe a walk around the block is in order! Nap time and belly rubs are a good equalizer as well. Finding that balance will keep that tail wagging!
