I have clients fill out a medical history on their pet and ask if there are any medical or behavioral problems that I should be aware of. I have several special needs dogs of my own, so don't worry, I've seen it all before! No, I have no breed preferences. I love all dogs.

On walks, unless the owner has a special set route that they want me to take, I like to follow the dog's lead and let them feel free to explore, roll in the grass if they want to, and sniff as many things as they would like. A dog's sense of smell is so sensitive that I feel it's important to allow them to take their surroundings in when they want, and when they aren't in the mood to sniff, we go for a nice walk at a comfortable pace. If weather does not permit, or if the owner prefers, we will stay in and play in the yard, or house. If the dog is not feeling well, or is unable to play, we'll just snuggle up and spend some time together and enjoy each other's company. With cats, some are more social than others. Some will come out to play, some who are shy, may just benefit from someone being there to check on them, feed them and scoop their litter . No matter what type of pet you have , I always try to make them feel loved and at ease when you are not at home. I'm a true animal lover, so your pets are like family to me.
