We L❤VE dogs!
Pet care experience
Hello and thanks for checking us out! My family and I have been dog owners for more than 25 years and we love them. You might say we’ve become that “crazy dog family” on the block because there is always activity going on in our home with a four-legged friend or two. Our experience includes fostering more than 50 puppies from a local rescue, helping them become housebroken, learn basic commands and find homes and caring for our own family and friends dogs of varying breeds. We've also boarded thru Rover 70 plus dogs since 2018. Please note: ***Specialize on shy and skittish personalities*** ***Specialize FMD and Jindo breeds*** ***Available for short term or long term boarding*** ***Crates are required for boarding. Dogs must be comfortable sleeping in a crate at night (no excessive barking, howling or separation issues). A little about us: I am fortunate to work full time from home to stay with your pup. We do have a 14 and 16 yr old at home so we always require meet n greets to make sure your pup is safe as well as friendly with all the members in our home. Our boys are very gentle and respectful of dogs as they have been raised around them their entire lives. They understand that all dogs are different and require different types of introduction and attention. From time to time, we will take more than 1 Rover and possibly have a Foster puppy, so we always need to know if your pup can handle the activity that goes on here. If you think we may be a great fit for your furry pal while your away, please message us to set up a meet and greet. Our pup loves having friends over to play and keep him company. We would love to get to know you and your pup! Woof!
Reviews
Heather took outstanding care of Kona and sent us photos and videos every day with updates on how she was doing. Kona seemed very happy and spoiled during her 5 day stay. We will definitely board Kona with Heather again in the future.
My number 1 place for my puppy to stay! You can always tell from the pictures and videos that Heather sends that the dogs are well cared for and loved during their stay. Sadie always gets so much play time outside with the other dogs that are staying that she comes home and sleeps for days.
First time using Rover and I’m glad we chose Heather! Levi had an amazing time and received lots of videos and pictures. Will definitely book again for future trips!
Friendly, welcoming, very communicative with frequent updates. Highly recommended!

We have a fenced yard with gates that prevent the pups from following us down the side of the house. This helps when we need to take cans out so they can't slip past us. We also utilize a system of doors and baby gates in the house to prevent boarding guests from running out the front door or garage door. This is important since some dogs may be flight risks, and I have active boys who are constantly in and out of the house, and your dogs safety and security is very important to us!

We will always need to know if your dog is neutered or spayed. We cannot take dogs who are not fixed and this mainly because those who are not fixed become more territorial or may act differently with other dogs. We also require that your dog is comfortable in a crate so that we can secure them while we run an errand or for bedtime routine. If your pup cannot tolerate a crate at night we will not be able to watch your pup. This is for the safety of your pup and other pups we may be watching. We want to ensure the safety of everyone and every dog in our home at all times.
A typical day
We love going on hikes, playing ball in the backyard, or walks around the block. Our yard is big enough that lots of Zoomies can take place and wear your pup out. ?️
