I am the owner of a dog training company, Shepherds and Misfits K9 LLC. I’ve taken care of many different dog breeds since pursuing a career in the canine field. I currently own 8 dogs: 6 German Shepherds, 1 German Shepherd Mix and 1 Labrador Retriever Mix. I am certified in Dog Training and Pet First Aid/CPR. I am able to take care of young puppies and senior dogs.

Heather is a dog-sitting superstar! I'd never left my pups with anyone other than family before, so I was pretty nervous. But right off the bat Heather quickly put those worries to rest by asking all the right questions, making me know like I am truly leaving my dogs with a pro. Her photo updates were always fun throughout my trip, and her level of attentiveness was really comforting. Now, I no longer dread work trips because I know I've got Heather to watch over my little guys. She's handled even larger dogs and even has a few of her own, making my two pug mixes seem like a breeze lol. I'm beyond grateful for her outstanding care!
Heather did well taking care of my two cats for a few days.
So grateful for Heather! My babies love her and I don’t have to feel anxious when I go on trips anymore! Highly highly recommend

I currently do not have a fence around my property. I walk pets on their leashes and use long lines when having play time outside. I have 8 dogs who are able to play with your dog unless your pet needs to have separate play time and cuddle time! We will accommodate your pets needs.

A typical day
My goal is to make sure your dogs are mentally and physically stimulated/enriched during their stay. I offer mental enrichment toys and treats, playing fetch outside or just enjoying outside for the lower energy dogs, walks, and exploring the area. All your dogs needs will be fully met to insure they feel like they are on a vacation as well!
