My family has owned dogs since I was 4 years old - at one time, my family had up to 4 dogs at one time. I was raised to understand that they were part of our family. I currently have a female Cocker Spaniel. We take her everywhere. She goes to peoples houses with us, birthday parties, vacation and even camping. She is my sons best friend and watching my 5 year old bond with her is the most endearing thing I could imagine. He won't get out of his bed until our she gets in with him. My loyalties lie with dogs. They are the most amazing creatures I could ever imagine and the love our dog has brought to our family is inexplainable. They are truly family members!
