Heather and my dog were not a good fit. I don't feel like she was empathic to my dog's anxiety or gave my dog the attention she needs. My dog ended up exhibiting behaviors she does not typically have like accidents in the house, aggression towards people on walks, and excessive barking. Heather sent me a text very upset that my dog peed in the house and then proceeded to cancel the next booking I had with her which left me in a pinch to find another sitter on short notice. I was also very anxious the rest of the stay knowing my dog was not happy with Heather, but I was out of town and could not come back to get her. She was upset that my dog barked while she was trying to do conference calls but clearly my dog was in distress and it seemed like Heather just wanted a dog that was going to lay there and not need much attention so that she could continue to work and do her normal routine and activities. I am looking for a a more involved and hands on sitter that has empathy and patience for dogs who may be anxious in a new environment and without their owners and they make pet sitting a top priority. I have since had other sitters who have not had the same issues with my dog.

She was great with my 9 year old Husky. Very responsive.
