Animal loving soul in stone oak
Pet care experience
I am a happy loving person and I feel that my energy is just what animals like to be around. I have two medium sized female dogs of my own and have had cats in the past. I have two young daughters that I am so glad get to grow up knowing how to behave in front of and treat animals with loving kindness. I consider my dogs to be a part of my family and are still my children.
Reviews
Ms. Heather Doxtater is the only one I would trust with my babies, which are Alaskan malamute and require a ton of attention. She is dedicated to providing a loving environment to animals, which enables my Alaskan malamute to built trust rather quickly and relieves any stress I may have about leaving my dogs at the dog-sitter

Safety, trust & environment
My animal behaviorist role model is Cesar Milan because he 'doesn't train animals, he trains people.' I believe that an animal does rely on its own instincts and will follow the person that is the most confident in her decisions. It may take some time, but all animals (and people) want to be able to trust the person in charge of their care. The guards we put up are for our protection but life becomes beautiful when we are able to put those guards down because we feel a bond and trust.

I have lots of experience with animals, from volunteering at local shelters while I was growing up, to taking care of friends pets when they are in need. I do not mind being around energetic animals or giving animals space to get to know me. Animals are people and even though they can not communicate the way we can, they do have emotions and need to be treated the way we would treat any other person. I am a true believer or compassion and the need for unconditional love. Old or young, we all need that kind of care.
