*proper covid precautions and PPE will be worn in your home and when handling your animal. Have you dreaded finding care for your dog or cat because of their quirky traits? Whether it’s fear reactiveness, shyness, or over joyous lunges, I will meet your pet where they’re at. I have over 20 years of experience walking and caring for dogs and cats for family and neighbors. I thought I knew everything there was about caring for animals until I adopted my special street dog from Aruba 3 years ago. Her life on the streets turned out to be not so good for her and we had a lot to do. After realizing how difficult it was to find pet care for her special needs, I spent many hours with a trainer learning how to properly care for these type of special animals. I’m comfortable working with all dogs and cats but have a special place in my heart for animals that need a little extra patience, kindness and compassion. We are so grateful to have found Heather to take care of Toby. We had a last-minute emergency, and she was super flexible and accommodating with our needs. She took care of Toby for over a week and was amazing because she kept us updated with videos where Toby was having the time of his life. She also made sure that Toby stayed on schedule with what works for us, which is great because he could come back home without struggling with a transition.
