Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name is Heather and I have lifelong experience caring for all types of animals. I work full-time for Swan Mountain in Outfitters as a guide mostly working with horses and on occasion mules. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and tons and tons of chickens. I grew up in North Carolina on an industrial chicken farm but I’ve been moving around the Northwest for the past five years working on different farms and ranches. I am loving the Flathead Valley, but as you all know it is quite pricey around here. I would love to find 2 to 3 regulars that I could come and visit weekly just to lock down a little bit of extra income each month. Heather is awesome with all animals!! She used to take my boxer Nola out for walks and was great with her! She loves all animals and is really good with all breeds!
Heather is a wonderful dog sitter! She took care of my sweet terrier mix Ollie Bean for years while I was busy teaching and going to school. He was always excited to see her and would take her on as his new human if I let him! She is incredibly reliable, responsible and caring. She also grew up around a variety of animals and is knowledge in what it takes to be an excellent pet sitter. Ollie bean and I wish she were closer so she could still be ours!

I have two cats, opal and Sundance, and they are both indoor/outdoor. We are very fortunate to have a cat door that goes into my garage, which allows the girls to roam freely during the day and then they can be closed in at night to ensure their safety. I will follow any guidelines or routines that you set forth for your pets. I believe that routine is absolutely crucial for any animal.

No breed preferences! I would just like to be familiar with their ability to interact/or not interact with other dogs and people. I will plan accordingly based off of your guidelines and preferences for your pet.
A typical day
I am living in the heights of Columbia Falls and really enjoy going out for walks and hikes in the canyon. I enjoy finding new places but currently I’m always hiking with a friend to ensure my safety. I love going for walks around town as well.

Availability
I have two jobs currently working Part time with Peak Performance Equine and part time with Swan Mountain Outfitters. I will have a little extra availability for drop in visits around Christmas time.
