Pet care experience
Graduate in health care that *works from home*!! Being in healthcare I prioritize maintaining good health with any critter. I grew up rehabbing all sorts of animals and was always surrounded with cats and dogs. Dogs are loyal and loving, so I find them comforting and the best vibes to be around. They're healers and so huggable. Rehabbing raccoons, squirrels, kittens and puppies, song birds, deer, and hawks taught me a lot about on how to take care of any critter. I raised my cat from the time he was 5 days old and he is over 10 years old now and as lazy and happy as one could possibly be. I bottle fed him and until he started eating solid food, which he has a particular diet due to genetic health issues, so I grown to learn more about care.

Heather and her family take such good care of our dog. You can just tell how comfortable she is with them, and she always comes home happy after staying there. Amazing people, highly recommend as they will take good care of your pup!

We have a fenced in backyard. If we leave the house, dog placement is upon preference of their human parents, but we try not to crate (unless they chew furniture, shoes, etc when alone). Our living room has very large windows for doggos to keep guard at and bird watch.

If there are any medications they take or if there are special notes to make (separation anxiety, chewing, etc), knowing in advance will really help. If you have 2+ pets needing care, we can do that. **IMPORTANT** *MUST HONESTLY be good with cats and kids. Last thing anyone wants is the cat or kids to be pinned down again. *Up-to-date on flea meds. *If they're a chewer or have anxiety, please inform us and bring chewer toys, as we've had personal items destroyed after not being informed/having chewer toys brought. Subject to being charged for not informing us and we have an item chewed on and needs to be replaced. We can accept up to 2 separate boarding bookings at a time...but please note, MUST get along with other dogs. We have 2 kids and a cat that we want safe and we do not want any doggos hurt or stressed either. We value safety and mental health very highly.
A typical day
There are several dog parks near our house that we like to check out on the occasion! There are tons of trails too at Point Defiance Park. Since i work from home, i usually leave our back door open so dogs can go in & out as they please.

Availability
Working from home allows me to be with the doggos all the time, so they can go in and out as much as they want. We have 2 kids; our son loves to give animals hugs or cover them with a blanket. My daughter throws treats like it's glitter. On weekends we try to spend our time outside as much as possible, as we have a large backyard.
