Hello! I just moved to Newport to attend UCI. While I was living in the Bay Area, I worked for the Humane Society Silicon Valley. I adopted out animals, helped run both big and small dog playgroups, and of course - I walked dogs! I also got the chance to work with dogs under "Behavior Modification". These animals were either too shy or too high arousal to be put up for adoption at that time, so they needed special care before they were ready. In addition to my past year of shelter work, I have two dogs of my own. Sierra is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix, and Blake, a 6 month old Lab mix. I had to leave them at home in the Bay and I miss being around dogs everyday. I am an incoming junior at UCI and I attend school full time. My classes are in the early afternoon and middle of the day, so I would prefer to work in the mornings. I look forward to working with your dog!
