Hi there, I’m Heather! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10 years of experience training future seeing eye dogs and volunteering at shelters, where I worked with dogs and cats of all ages, abilities, needs, and sizes. I treat animal-care as a job-alongside-my-job: I’m always more than happy to schedule a walk or drop in for the early mornings, during lunch breaks, evenings, or nights- whenever suits you. As a pet owner myself, I recognize the importance of leaving your furry friend in the care of someone trustworthy and caring- I hope to be that person for you! A little about me: I currently work for Imperial College (in operations), was a secondary school teacher for a few years after completing my bachelor’s and master’s, and will be starting my PhD in English Literature in a few months. I’m also an avid runner and would love to take your dog out for a run if he/she is energetic and looking for some good exercise! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I work a shift schedule and am often available early mornings, at midday for a lunchtime walk, or for an evening stroll! I believe that all dogs deserve heartfelt and compassionate care, and I strive to provide safe and comfortable environments for all animals in my care, whether on a walk or when visiting at home.
