I have 4 "extra" babies. My oldest is 15 years old she has been with me since my junior year of high school. From there it goes to my 9 year old Golden Retriever whom has been by my middle sons side since he was born. Then my 2 year old silk haired terrior, GAV, who turned into my emotional support system and protector puppy after my father died while we were all in Hawaii. And last but not least my husbands 6month old service dog Grace!!!!! I have never lived a day in my life without a dog by my side!!!! My babies were each raised with one of our current puppies. I have dog sat numerous times and from many different duty stations.
